The Luxury Tents are set up on high platforms with views of the river and have canvas walls. There is either a queen-sized or a double four-poster bed in each room, and the furniture is styled after old-fashioned travels. The bathrooms are modern and come with everything you need, including a shower.

This Kenyan lodge in the Mara also has well-equipped family tents that are designed in an African-inspired style. There are two beds in each tent, one on each side of a large living room. From these, you can get to a deck with a view of the river and the savannahs beyond. For the main bedroom, there is a queen-sized four-poster bed. The second bedroom has two double beds. Each one has its own bathroom with a shower and all the latest conveniences.

Location

It takes about six hours to drive from Nairobi to get to the Mara Intrepids Camp, which is in the middle of the Masai Mara National Reserve. It’s easy to get to by plane since it has its own landing strip.
It is 298 km (185 miles) from Nairobi to this Masai Mara camp in Kenya’s Masai Mara. The camp is on a beautiful part of the Talek River. It takes 45 minutes to fly from the city to the camp’s own all-weather airstrip, Ol Kiombo. Kennedy Space Center has trips to the camp twice a day.

Game Drives

People who stay at this Mara lodge in Kenya can go on game drives three times a day to see more of the area. The early morning game drive starts at 6 a.m. It’s a nice drive to see wildlife before it gets too hot. The second game drive starts in the middle of the morning, after food. The last game drive goes in the late afternoon and comes back at dusk.

During a Kenya safari vacation, guests can also choose to spend the whole day touring the Masai Mara. There will be a packed breakfast and lunch. This means that the best use of time is to have exciting experiences with wildlife. The game drives are led by knowledgeable local guides and take place in 4×4 vehicles that have been specially modified with roof racks that open to allow for the best picture opportunities. Safari in a hot air balloon

Get to the launch spot just before dawn. Before getting on board for a ride over the Mara, watch as the balloons slowly fill up and rise. From this high spot, you can see the fields’ animals as the sun comes up and a new day starts.

Dining at Bush

If you want to do something exciting, go out into the desert and eat a delicious bush breakfast or a fancy dinner under the stars. Explorators from the past would have loved this romantic adventure. During the meal, you can hear the roar of a lion or see a group of elephants eating nearby.

Specialized safaris for taking pictures

These trips are led by trained guides who are also shooters of wildlife. They are led by specially modified safari vehicles with roofs that can be folded down so that guests can take full advantage of photo possibilities. Things for taking pictures, like beanbag mounts, are built into the cars.

The Kids’ Adventurers Club

The kids club at this lodge is the best of all the Masai Mara camps. It’s a great way for kids on safari to learn about the African bush from one of the lodge’s Masai naturalists. They will learn how to use plants, recognize animals and their tracks, and stay alive in the bush. One of the things to do is an obstacle course that is based on the difficulties of living in the bush.
