The place

In the southern part of Kenya, Campi ya Kanzi is part of Kuku Group Ranch. The ranch is 400 square miles of land that is owned by Maasai herders.

In Kenya, the land goes from the Chyulu Hills to the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro, which is the tallest mountain in Africa at 19,342 feet. The ranch is between 3,000 and 6,900 feet above sea level, so the land has a lot of different types of landscapes.

Grasslands in the savanna, green river woods, and cool mountain forests are all places where they can live. Lava flowed out of the Kuku Group Ranch in Kenya and made the Chyulu Hills less than 500 years ago. There is a lot of different life in them, which makes them famous.
