Watch as the sun turns the fields below into a colorful scene and look down to see thousands of animals.
You can add a tasty breakfast to an early morning or late evening game drive. Take a walk in the woods with a Maasai guide and learn about their way of life and how to act around animals. The lodge can even set up a visit to a Manyatta, which is a typical Maasai home.

The Masai Mara
The Serengeti and the Mara, which are both in Tanzania, are part of one of the biggest remaining wild areas. They both have rolling savannahs and lots of animals. Millions of Wildebeest, Zebras, and Gazelles move through the Mara in search of new grass to eat and drink. This is called the Great Migration. Elephants, giraffes, and other grazers live on the plains of the Mara, as well as one of the largest groups of lions in the world.
The Mara is where the Maasai group, who are one of the most well-known in Kenya, traditionally lived. Their life in the countryside hasn’t changed much over the years. They love their cattle and raise them with the animals. The Maasai are known for their beautiful beading and jumping dances.
